VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Hey Kids! All children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in
Vacation Bible School at Saint Francis Xavier from July 21st

meet everyday in the Parish Center from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to
sing songs, play games and make crafts and have lunch. Our focus
will be on all the wonderful TREASURES God has provided us with
throughout history. On Friday, we will take a field trip to
Calder's Farm to see the wonderful animals and one of our favorite
gifts, ICE CREAM! Registration forms are available in the back of
Church or in the rectory and can be returned in the collection
basket or in person. This year ALL CHILDREN MUST BE REGISTERED
BEFORE THE DAY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL BEGINS, so we can buy the

FESTIVAL SPONSORS
Each year we offer our parishioners the opportunity to become a
Festival Sponsor. Our Sponsors help our festival be a success. For
a donation of $25.00 we will create a personalized 24 x 24 Sponsor
poster for you that will be displayed in the Big Tent during the
entire festival. It's easy to become a Sponsor. Just provide the
name you would like on the poster no later than September 7, 2008
along with a check or $25.00 cash. ( If it is for a business we
would be happy to include your logo on it. ) Please suggest this
to your friends, family, and businesses. This would be a great way
for those who cannot work the festival to support us in this most
important festival along with those who want to say 'Hi!' to all.
Advertising a business will reach the entire Downriver area, not
just Ecorse! Thank you in advance for your support! Cathey Borsh,
Sponsor Poster Chairperson |

TO SCHEDULE MASS INTENTIONS
Use the envelopes provided in the back of Church and place in the
collection Basket or Please write on the envelope the intention
requested, and date and mass time. Also include the name of the
person requesting it and their phone number on the envelope with
the donation and place it in the collection basket at mass or
bring it to the rectory. All mass requests need to be
submitted at least two weeks before the mass. This gives us time
to put it in the bulletin the week prior to the mass, which is
required. Also, we have beautiful mass cards available for the
mass intentions for healing and for the repose of the soul for the
deceased which can be sent to those who are ill or the family of
someone deceased. |
