Today is:

Advent Tree - During Advent, our church displays this 'tree' with its many choices for the people of the parish to choose from to provide help for people in need of food and clothing, toys or companionship.

Appreciation Dinner - Once a year the people in the parish who served in any capacity on the several church commissions, organizations and activities are invited to a 'thank you' dinner in their honor at the Parish Center.

Bake Sales - The women of the St. Anne Rosary Altar Society and the Guadalupanas hold bake sales during the year.  Their homemade pies, cakes, cookies and nut rolls disappear quickly as everyone in the parish looks forward to these events.

Blood Drive - The parish schedules daylong blood drives once a year on Good Friday in the Parish Center in cooperation with the American Red Cross.

Card Party - The St, Anne Rosary Altar Society holds a card party every year to provide the women of the parish an afternoon of lunch, card games and happy chatter.

Coffee & Donuts - The first Sunday of every month is the date for parishioners and friends to share coffee & donuts after all Sunday Masses.

Festival - Once a year the Parish sponsors a fundraiser in the form of a family-oriented festival, with games, music, dancing, Vegas and Bingo, and always good food!

Fish Fries - Every Friday during Lent our young people sponsor fish dinners in the Parish Center.  Proceeds of these dinners go into our Parish CYO Fund to help defray the costs of the children's athletic program.

Forever Young Luncheons - Once a month our parish 'young-old timers' meet for a potluck lunch in the Parish Center.  This always results in an abundance of both food and conversation.

Golf Outing - Every summer the men and women of the parish, and their guests, get together for a morning of golf.  This annual event always is well attended and everyone's enjoyment is exceeded only by the many faulty memories in recording strokes.

Mexican Breakfast - Twice a year our Mexican parishioners host a Sunday morning breakfast.  Everyone is invited to share the meal and the companionship.

Parish Picnic - Every summer out parishioners gather for a picnic at a local park or on church grounds.  The event begins with Mass and continues throughout the day with food, beverages, games, prizes and sunburn.

Soup Meals - Every Tuesday during Lent, various parish groups take turns preparing and serving a soup meal.  Parishioners come to the Parish Center for bowls of homemade soups, and then walk over to the church for Tuesday evening Mass.

Treasures 'n' Things - Annually the parish hosts an annual flea-market.  People from the downriver area donate their 'treasures' for a three day rummage sale in the Parish Center.

Ushers' Breakfast - Throughout the year, the members of the Ushers' Society prepare and serve breakfast on Sunday morning.  (They may take all the credit, but the assistance of out parish women assures success of the meals.)

Winterfest - Annually the parish hosts Winterfest, where people from the downriver community gather to display their handiwork, and offer visitors opportunities to browse and purchase.
